Learning goals | Students are given insight into different aspects for exercising target-orientated constructions of both non- profit and profit organizations. An understanding for drivers of the organizational environment and for specific influential factors of organizations is sharpened throughout this lecture. |
Learning content | Examples for the learning content are: Definition of the term “Organization”, job analysis and job synthesis, coordination of workload, values and organizational culture, situational influences on organizations, balances between authority and control as well as between specialization and coordination, insights into strategic, innovation and alliance management. |
Forms of knowledge intermediation | Lecture (2 contact hours), Tutorial (1 contact hour). The lecture will be enhanced through case studies, literature discussions and excursions. The tutorial will support the lecture with additional examples and case studies. |
