M2: Integrated Master Theis
Learning goals
| During a course of instruction held previous to the master thesis, proficiency skills in data collection and data analysis will be taught to the respective candidates. The development process of the master thesis gives the students the opportunity to observe and examine interrelations between different fields of business administration and management studies. They will be enabled to capture, operationalize and elaborate a final thesis by theoretical and empirical means of research.

Learning content
| Learning content of the methodical module includes the procurement procedure of data analysis through various methods of data collection and data analysis. Examples are: Formulation of the research question, development of a research concept, literature research, data collection and data analysis, literature and resource analysis.

Forms of knowledge intermediation
| The required methodology demands an intensive examination of the various statistical methods of scientific research. Students work independently on their master thesis which deals with a specific topic that must be in line with scientific points of view.

Prerequisites
| Successful completion of the consolidation seminar at the respective chair. Another compulsory requisite is attendance and completion of the methodical module.

Connection with other modules
| Students who aim at writing their final thesis are recommended to attend the classes offered by the chair. The successful completion of a seminar is a requirement for admittance.
