Learning goals
| The lecture “organizational dynamics” aims at students who want to improve their knowledge about the development and the strategic and emergent change of organizations. This includes concepts, which modify organizations and that allow for permanent change competence and capability.

Learning content
| Examples of the learning content are: Life cycles of organizations, organizational crises, change in organizations, conflict management, theories of power and political processes, knowledge management, organizational learning & dynamic capabilities, team management und diversity management, team processes, corporate flexibility strategies, organizational development and dynamics in supply chains.

Forms of knowledge intermediation
| Lecture (2 contact hours), Tutorial (1 contact hour). The lecture will be enhanced through case studies, literature discussions and excursions. The tutorial will support the lecture with additional examples and case studies.

Recommended previous knowledge
| Principle knowledge of general management studies and organizational theories are required.
